Affiliate marketing represents an online channel where advertisers (or ‘merchants’) are able to reward online publishers (or ‘affiliates’) for sales or leads generated through that affiliates website or marketing channel.

The advertiser increases sales revenue and brand awareness whilst the affiliate is paid a proportion of the resulting lead or sale. Thus, the advertiser is able to advertise without risk, and the affiliate benefits from website performance.

The process begins with the affiliate promoting the advertisers campaign which can be done using website links (both image and text links), email marketing or other marketing channels. When a customer clicks on the affiliates link, a cookie is placed upon the users computer which allows for any sale or lead to be tracked and recorded (we also use cookieless tracking). The affiliate who generated the lead is then rewarded with payment of the agreed commission.
